Hair Surrogate

I'm not sure if I've mentioned it on here, but Mr. Wonderful has a pretty fantastic head of hair. It's thick and wavy and completely grabbable, with little curls that jut out in certain places. There it is below looking lovely in front of the Lourve.

Being away from this gorgeous mop for the last several months has been difficult. I've tapped my fingers against my computer screen, tracing them along his hairline as we chat on Skype. I've had dreams about touching it. And lately, I've been so desperate that I find myself cheating on it.

See, I've been watching Entourage on Netflix over the past few weeks, and in addition to being a hysterical show (probably particularly to me because I live near Hollywood) its main cast member has one of the best sets of locks I've ever laid eyes on. I have nearly had to sit on my hands during certain episodes because it is so tempting to claw at Adrian Grenier's hair on the TV screen.

My friend Brookem always features notable HOHs (Head of Hair) on her blog. I hope she has included Adrian because he deserves major hair props.

Good hair on a man is totally underrated.

Pfft, you're funny. Sweets also has a great HOH and it definitely makes a difference.

Good hair indeed! Except when a guy spends more time on his hair than I do...

Hannah - Where you been all my life? You haven't posted in awhile. (BTW, your hubby has a nice head of hair, too :)

Nilsa - There's nothing like a good run of the fingers through a nice head like Mr. W's or Sweets'.

Jane - Yes, there is a fine line. And if they highlight - I'm OUT. Natural, nice hair is where it's at.

Hahahaha! My eyes were drawn to the photo before I even read the title of the post or the first line. I thought, "My, he has great hair!" I'm not sure what they can do about that heart-shaped thing over his face though. I'm glad you love him in spite of it.

thanks for the tip off on adrian! it's quite nice. in that pic im a little leery of the... grease?, to be honest, but he does have a nice texture and wave which im sure we could work with ;)

Dingo - I dunno, I think continual exposure to that heartface just makes me feel more lovey.

Hannah - Congrats! I hope you like the new job!

Laura - As Gary likes to say, you get "pink" hair when you get old. I'm going to cross my fingers Mr. W just gets grey.

Brookem - I'm going to say it's just wet - like he just got out of the shower. I don't want to think of it as being greasy! And I like the real-life HOH idea, but Mr. W is probably too shy to let me post a real picture...even though everyone can see him on Facebook. :P

Even though he's a complete nutbag, Rocco DiSpirito has great hair and for some reason Mr. W's photo reminded me of him. Weird.

True story: I once saw *someone who looked like Adrian's clone* at a coffee shop in my college town of Athens, Ohio. I didn't say anything to him... but I stared at his immense good looks. Days later i discovered *guess who* was in town that week promoting John Kerry's campagin. Doh!

And yes. His hair is glorious.
